Women's Health Tips: (Part 3) Building Momentum

ree

How are you doing? Have you been putting into practice the tips that I've shared the last few weeks? Today, I'm excited to dive into what it looks like during the week after your period is over. It's called the follicular phase in your cycle. Ready to maximize your potential? Keep reading to find out some tips to keep this phase going smoothly.

Tip #1 - Build Momentum.

This week, is a good week to set goals and gear up for your most productive week of the month. Take some time to set goals and lay the groundwork for putting them into practice.

Tip #2 - Clean.

If you're like me, you always function best when the house is clean. This is your week to get the house prepped and cleaned, get supplies you need, and schedule next week to be truly productive.

Tip #3 - Strength Train.

This is a great week to strength train. HIT workouts are "it." Build momentum in your exercise routine to prepare for a busy upcoming week.

Tip # 4 - Eat COLOR!

Eat foods that are full of color like fresh fruits and vegetables, salads, smoothies. Take some time to build that momentum by consuming lots of vitamins through fresh whole foods.

Tip #5 - Specifically plan those social outings for next week.

Next week you will (hopefully) have more energy than any other time this month. This is the time to schedule some fun outtings and plan trips. Get out your calendar and call up the friend to schedule that hangout time you keep putting off!

Final Thoughts

This post was a quick one. It's all pretty straghtforward. Right? I think of what a blessing it is that God has given us seasons, that we have the waning of the moon and it's rising, the seasons of warmth and chill. I'm thankful that we as women can also tap into these "seasons" to optimize our productivity and even our time with God and serving others.

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven... He has made everything appropriate in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11
